So Happy
My daughter has been at Stepping Stone School for just a few months. As a first time Mom going back to work was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. My husband and I felt the warmth the minute we walked in. It was great to hear that her teacher has been with Stepping Stone for 16 years!! The other girls working with her have obviously been trained well. The flow in the class was smooth as each teacher knew each child's needs. The children were playing happily and we could tell right away that if we had to leave our little one somewhere, this was the place for us! Since that day we have never looked back! How happy our child is at drop off and pick up! Thank you Stepping Stone for helping us adjust!!

My daughter was enrolled in Stepping Stone when she was in 1st grade. They picked her up after school & she would stay there until we got off work. About a month after enrollment, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This meant I had to train the staff. This staff, well, to put it politely, they had no brains. They could not figure out what to do or how to do it. When I provided specific food for my daughter, they would not give it to her OR they would be nasty to me about storing some carrots in their fridge. Twice, they let her have a free for all with the food....all the cookies, crackers, hot dogs that she wanted. Nice, her blood sugar shot up in the 500's and she was hospitalized. Once, they would not let her go to the bathroom. She was told that she had gone too many times. Frequent urination is a symptom of HIGH blood sugar. Ahh...but all these PALE in comparison to the time that they LEFT HER AT THE SCHOOL and didn't even know it until I called them to tell them what was going on. She had been found wandering the halls looking for the Stepping Stone staff about 30 minutes after school. If you have a diabetic child, you know how severaly dangerous this is. This place is not equipped to take care of a dog let alone a child!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PROS: none
CONS: inadequate staff, overpriced, dirty & unsafe facilities, discrimination
