Love it!
When we moved to Austin with our 3 y/o, finding a good day care was our top priority. We moved in from a small town and were very anxious about about our daughter's adjustment to a new setting. We heard good things about Stepping Stone and enrolled her at the Parmer location.

It has been a year since we first enrolled her, and we often say how fortunate we are to have found this facility! The staff is very caring and greets us by name when we walk through the door. They have always addressed our questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. My daughter just loves her care provider and is often greeted with a great, big hug. Her care provider has been so caring as our daughter dealt with the transition of both a big move and a new baby brother.

We were so comfortable the people at SS that we did not hesitate to enroll our new son in the infant program. The staff in the nursery are great and my son seems very content to be there.

This is a great place!

Best school for my grandaughter
My Grandaughter has gone to Stepping Stone on Parmer since she was 3 months old. She wil be going to Kindergarten in August. She has had the most wonderful experience. She has learned so much and loves going to school. All her teachers have been so warm and loving. The long term teachers and the Director always greet me and my Grandaughter by name every morning, it starts our day off great! We are very fortunate to live in the neighborhood so she will be able to be in their afterschool program which she is looking forward to. We would not go anywhere else!

Stepping Stone School XVI in Teravista
We have a 10 yr and 4 yr old, both boys. We had been going to a Children's Courtyard for years and it was good but not close to our residential location. When my wife decided to go back to work, we began a new search and found Stepping Stone XVI not far away. A few of our neighbors attend there and we began our investigation. It did not take long before we both became enthralled by the innovativeness of their environment. Me, being the husband, assumed that this place probably came with a lucrative price tag. Boy was I wrong! Not only had we befriended the staff at our previous Children's Courtyard school and our 4 yr old's best friend was still attending there, making the decision difficult was becoming less and less difficult. OK, so it was time to dive deeper. What type of curriculum did this Stepping Stone use and how knowledgable and friendly were the staff? It had taken months if not years for us to become good friends with all of the staff at Courtyard and the Director was offering us some pretty sweet deals to return. I knew that both of the boys would have no problem making new friends and adjusting to the changes, much less enjoying the thrill of seeing neighborhood and school friends at the same location. Both schools offer above average settings and materials...but to me, it was change. Change from the ordinary and possibly even fear of the unknown. Of course my wife was more concerned for the welfare of the children and their emotional status, but again, me being the husband, what was the cost going to be? What were the little catches that were possibly not mentioned during the interviews? Were we going to just be another name and number? Was the staff going to take the time out for us for any little thing, even if I wanted to know what was on the agenda for the day, i.e. lunch? You betcha! This place has got it all AND I'm saving our family money! It is new, creative, innovative, friendly, peaceful and safe! See for yourself.

Safe and Sound
I know when my son is at this school he is loved and well looked after. I know there will always be someone to guide him, teach him and kiss his owies if necessary. Convenient to work and home I think this center has it all!
